Peter F. Wingerter lives in the southwest of Germany, near Trier and Luxembourg.
Inspired by some photographers, like Michael Kenna or Jonathan Chritchley, he concentrates mostly on landscape photography or architectural photography.
He uses long exposure because he finds it fascinating to create images that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
In the monochrome world he is mostly concerned with forms or lines, but also with abstract or minimalist ones. A kind of calm and silence in the picture. Aesthetics play an important role in his images.
Especially on journeys or short trips he finds the necessary peace to create pictures.
Photography gives his ideas and implementation a home.
Peter F. Wingerter earns his living as the owner of an Allianz insurance agency at Mosel Region in the southwest of Germany.
